Provides Indigenous crisis counselling and related services to individuals
and families who are suffering or in distress due to a death, suicide, traumatic events or domestic violence.
And counselling in relation to institutional cases.
The Foundation has a particular focus on Indigenous peoples due to the higher rates of trauma listed above within these communities.
The Four Winds Foundation provides Indigenous crisis counselling and related services to individuals or families who are suffering distress as a result of a death, suicide, traumatic events or domestic violence.
The Foundation also provides Indigenous crisis counselling concerning institutional cases.
Counselling and support services are provided in a safe, confidential, and open environment to individuals and families; their discreet, experienced, professional team have an excellent understanding approach that enables people to feel comfortable.
The Foundation can establish a positive relationship with individuals and their families, where needed, they can also assist in aligning those in need with other professional services.
Types of cases where counselling is offered include;
Troubled Families (children or youth cases, young or teen families)
Elderly
Separation or Divorce cases
Death, suicidal or traumatic incidences
Domestic Violence Awareness (Women, Children)
Psychological illnesses, sickness and health cases
